We are currently hiring to fill the following positions:
Working Crew Supervisor/Foreperson
- To supervise, lead, motivate and work hands-on with a construction crew
- To manage all aspects of crew production, meeting or exceeding all required efficiencies
- Often required to complete tasks that are expected of Landscape Technician or Landscape Labourer
- Must be able to read plans and implement designs in an accurate, efficient and safe way.
- No experience in landscape construction or equipment operation is required
- Salary position available only after successful completion of first season
- Pay based on crew productivity, to be determined
Landscape Lead Hand
- To construct gardens and other landscaped environments and advise clients on issues related to horticulture.
- Often required to complete tasks that are expected of a Landscape Labourer
- Complete the installation of individual landscape elements such as plant layout and installation, boulder installation, step construction, low voltage lighting installation, etc.
- Must be skilled at operating small landscape equipment such as stone saw, plate tamper and have some experience operating larger equipment such as skid steer and mini-excavator
- Progression to foreman positions in landscaping and horticulture is possible with additional training or experience
- Pay range of $12 – $18 based on skills and experience
Landscape Technician
- To perform manual work to assist in the construction of landscaping elements, related structures and gardens
- Physically demanding tasks such as digging, raking, wheelbarrowing, lifting and carrying pavers and stone, etc.
- Progression to technician positions in landscaping and horticulture is possible with additional training and experience
- Pay range of $9 – $14 based on skills and experience
